Entered & Modified dates
Derivation formula for dates
I am busy redeveloping our large DataEase Dos data base to 7.2 and have a problem with the derivation the formula for dates.
In DOS I used the Current Date command to record a date on which the record was modified and ??/??/?? command to enter the date on which the record was first entered. This date never changed but the modified date should and did.
When I use the ??/??/?? command in the derivation field of the Field Defination input form as a date field it returns a ??/??/00 in the document view.
Am I doing something wrong or is there a way to fix this?

Try: current extended date. This should work (if i understood your problem correctly).
