How to use Keyboard function keys in user mode
Does anyone know how to use the keyboard function keys to do such things as save record(F2) or look at next record (F3). My function keys does not work at all when I open a form.The only way I can look at records is using icons on the tool bar.
Also what would usefull thing to have would be to be able to come out of a form by simply pressing an Esc key as was possible back in the good old days of DOS.

The function keys should work fine in 7.2, but as function keys are a little outdated a lot of PCs let the function keys double with other functionality as well. On my laptop I need to hit a special button to enable them as Function Keys.
The problem with trying to "re-create" a DOS product in Windows is that it is a different environment. In DOS you could only have one object open at the same time. In Windows you are in a multitasking environment, where you can have several things going at the same time. Instead of opening and closing, you swap between them.
