Hi,
we are using a see32.dll (a third-party product) that we have defined in DFW (as a Custom Function) for sending mail from a DQL procedure without problems. This application runs under Dataease 6.52
Now we have migrated the same application into Dataease 7.2.2and we have some problem sending mail. I’ll explain to you :
If the user that runs the application is set to "medium1" the email is not send (we don't get errors, but the application don't respond, crashes)
If the user that runs the application is set to "high" the email is send succesfully.
In Dataease 6 all the users were “mediam1” and See32.dll works fine (the email were always send)
In Dataease 7 all the users were “mediam1” and See32.dll don’t works fine. It works only if we put the users as “High” (obviously we cannot do this).
What type of restrictions do you have introduced in DFW 7.2.2 ?
How can we solve the problem?
Thanks!
Best regards, Maurizio
